About Melissa Stauffer, Web Developer & Virtual Assistant

Why did I start iSimplify? Before our son was born, my husband and I decided that I would be a full-time mama. As many stay-at-home mothers do, I discovered that not only would the additional income be extremely helpful, but also that I would like to pursue my career while staying home.

With my office management and technical background, it became only too obvious what I should do!   And thus, iSimplify Virtual Assistance was born.  Nearly 8 years later, iSimplify is a thriving Virtual Assistance and Web Development business.  Along the way, we have assisted both small business owners and mid-sized companies with numerous administrative duties ranging from simple expense reporting to screening potential employees.  We even offer website development services.

What makes me unique as a Virtual Assistant?  Well as many of my clients like to say, “Missy has mad technical skills!”  I’ve always dabbled with computers and try to keep up with the latest in internet technology.  Over the years, I’ve become an expert in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Additionally, I’ve picked up skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.  I am able to work with PHP and I’m a big fan of customizing WordPress as a Content Management System for my clients.  I also consider myself highly capable of integrating all sorts of up-and-coming or established web tools such as email marketing (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Aweber, etc.), social networking (Ning, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), shopping cart systems (1shoppingcart, 1Automationwiz, Foxycart, E-junkie, etc.), and many, many others.

It is my desire to band together with other small business owners to help us BOTH be successful.  I take great pride in my work and my reputation – contact us today to learn how you can iSimplify YOUR business!

Ashley Logsdon, Virtual Assistant, Product Development, & Marketing Guru
Ashley LogsdonI am a challenge-junkie who absolutely enjoys a constantly changing environment.  My role at 48Days.com as a Chief Inspiration Officer has allowed me to learn the ins and outs of marketing, web development, customer service, product fulfillment, product development and building a small business, to name just a few roles.  I’ve been working with 48 Days, essentially managing the company with my husband, for 8 years now, and have had the pleasure of working with Melissa as our chief Web Developer.

As our business has gone in various directions and my focus on family has grown (I’m the never-sleeping mama to three little girls now), I wanted to expand beyond simply 48 Days and explore some new ventures.  Melissa quickly let me know that the VA world wasn’t only a perfect fit, I’ve been doing it with 48 Days all along!

I’ve lived in Nashville, TN for most of my life and love the South with the dose of musical genius that we get here in Music City, USA.  My incredible husband and I both work from home and are currently unschooling our kids, dabbling in real estate, and being virtual assistants to the many entrepreneurs we encounter through both 48 Days and iSimplifyVA.

Like Melissa, I think the most unique feature for both of us is our ability to grasp the technical side of things while still being personable and easy to talk to – so often it seems you get one or the other, and our goal at iSimplify is to give you both – the technical know-how but also a friend on your side to help you understand how to make your business the best it can be!

My areas of expertise are: Product Development (eBooks, physical product logistics, customized personality profiles), Marketing – writing sales copy and coming up with promotional ideas, basic web design – creating/editing pages in WordPress, etc, photography, very adept at Mailchimp, WordPress, 1AutomationWiz, WuFoo, InstantTeleseminar, Keynote, and Powerpoint, as well as web site audits.

Additionally, I love anything marriage/family related, and if you need to know how to cloth diaper, I’m your lady!

My goal as a virtual assistant is to be the relief small businesses need – to allow you to focus on what you do best and be secure in the fact that the other stuff can and will be taken care of.  You can count on me to follow through and get things done!

Lydia Craig, Virtual Assistant , Research Guru, and Photography Pro

About Anna Cook, Virtual Assistant

I’m Anna – at-home mom of one and virtual assistant. For the past six years my husband and I have been on-the-go. We were both working jobs that seemed to fulfill us, but left us stressed, tired, and without time for each other.  Our lives were living us. About two years ago, we stopped and asked each other, “How can we simplify it?” With the desire to add a little addition to our home, we sought at-home work for me and a job that would bring him home in the evening and on weekends.

Since then, I have been working virtually. What I love most about being a virtual assistant is that by working with a variety of clients, I can promote all the skills I have acquired throughout my journey. With my background in English and writing I have been able to research, write, and edit custom work for clients. For others I have planned events and fundraisers, promoted businesses, set meetings and calendars, led trainings and presentations. For the past two years I have also managed multiple data systems – all from home. There is never a dull moment in my office! In January 2011, we welcomed our first little one into our life. The career changes I made have been well worth it.

My passion, not matter the job, has always been to treat others well and provide excellent service, while accomplishing the tasks at hand. Joining the iSimplify team was the obvious step in my journey as a VA. I want to see men and women succeed on their journey toward growing a business, enjoy their personal lives, and feel the freedom to do both.
